i don't know if you've bought a new controller, but have you thought of having the uf8 painted?

you probably couldn't paint the area around the controllers without breaking the bank though.

but...the UF8 isn't so bad looking...

There is the strong possibility that only ONE port will work properly with the trigger finger...the trick is figuring out which one. the suggestion i posted was for the macbook pro 17...i don't know for the imac

And, buying the ram later will probably be more expensive than the discount you usually get when you buy the components together at once. Not to mention the fact the you're only getting a 512mb chip, and not a 1gb chip, which means you'll probably only be able to put in 1gb later, for a total of 1....

am i the only person who veiws the racks functin as the combinator? not to rip on ableton. it is a great idea and worth adapting for live. but the first thing i thought was "i have that in reason." moving on... i think it is a little unfortunate how disparate peoples desires are for ableto...
