I emailed tech support this afternoon, lets see what they write back. It shurely isn't the unit, perhaps a bug in the firmware, as it seems only to happen on the MBP. Otherwise it could be the core audio driver perhaps, as Dr Zoidberg has instable latency problems with his xonemixer too. How is your...

Try to repair OS X with the install Cd,
you need to hold a key while booting and start from the CD,
then there should be a possibility to repair OS X.

Check first on the different websites what you need to uninstall manually, I think especially smc or coolbook writes some stuff while installing you need to delete manually, it acts at higher level in the os as fancontrol itself. Also what did the repair permissions, nothin wrong while checking? I u...

Are you sure that you have correctly deleted all the different apps? Perhaps there are some hidden settings/files somewhere wich interact together? Check the manufacturers website for wich items to delete, I remember that the different apps work on a different level in the OS, as do smc-fancontrol a...

Hi nonnus, mine didn't do it for 3 days now, I was happy, hopped the damn thing, fixed itself, but played out in our local pub yesterday and after a while a mate said that their is a problem with the PA system, only plaing on one side. I knew it wasn't the PA, but the damn audiofire. Pulled the volu...

There where some series of faulty (sometimes swollen) Sony batteries installed in the earlier MBP's, check out here if your is one of them: https://support.apple.com/macbookpro15/batteryexchange/ I've had one of them, the battery was slightly swollen but still working, and after the logicboard swap ...

Yes, I click on both the mute buttons, wich strangely act on right/left output instead of both pairs of outputs , also moving an input fader disables sound until I touch something else in the console. Strange that such obvious bugs do find their way into an as stable released driver! I bet th...

Yes,
the same here with my ozonic,
crappy buggy driver from m-audio.
It has even the worst latency I've seen.
Send a bug report to the m-audio support,
perhaps they can fix something.

Because arrangement envelopes and clip envelopes are a different thing. Arrangement envelopes are absolute, imagine a midicontroller knob with a specific physical position shown as a value between 0 and 127. Clip envelopes are relative to the position of the midicontroller knob and shown in percent ...

You where right,
seems to be a driver but couldn't remember.
I'll come back on this once I have a Jack/jack cable.
Strange that the xone drifts on the Powerbook
and uses the same driver as the inbuilt. :?:
And why are they all called core audio?

I'll check that, but I need first to go and buy a jack/jack cable for that. I don't really know how drivers work on mac's, but I have only no audio and core in the dropdown menue, nothing such as m-audio driver as on the pc. Also there is no driver installed, only the m-audio mixer console wich you ...

Stays always the same here,
perhaps a slight difference between the different buffersettings,
but when I go back to my initial setting everything is back fine.
I've no idea what could cause this,
I think you should contact the Abes and see what they can do.

Ok Techlo, then your problem is pretty sure caused by the Frantic plugin. To you latufe, do you also have an M-Audio console installed on your machine? As my Ozonic console has always the mute switch on (should mute a stereo pair) when coming back from sleep, but there is only one channel muted unti...
