That's right. For some reason I lost signal between Live and AS and after restart couldn't get it work at first. It seems that AS must be running before Live can step in. But why the setup stopped working suddenly - that's weird...

Ableton receives midi data (up-right midi-in box flickers when tingled AS keyboard) but there's no any activity in instrumen...

Lot's of talking about quad cores and 64bits - Just out of curiosity, how many of you are using Live successfully
with at least five years old computer? I'm working with first generation macbook and it's running wild! Lot's of freezing though.
There's always workaround to be found if cpu hits 100%...

No crashes after deleting prefs. Now over 7 hours of solid editing work, rack building, mapping. Dcam, Alchemy, Razor seem to work just fine. Don't have a much space for 3rd party stuff anyway as I'm using first gen. macbook.

cant you make a bugfree version of L8 without max support? as legecy version for people that dont like to invest in max hazzle?
