Re: Help me build my "infinite granular delay return fx rack"

If you stick a saturator at the end of the chain and turn up the drive a little with soft clipping it will allow you to turn the send down (the send you are using to send the effect to itself) and smooth the sound out a little. Can you post the rack up when you are done please, I would be interested...

Re: Direct audio in Sampler or Simpler

Hi,

The frequency shifter will do most of the effects you mentioned. The best thing to do is play with all of the effects, you will soon find out that you have more than you could ever imagine :D

Re: Move effects and automation on midi track to audio track?

Hi,

If you control drag (cmd for mac) an effect from one track to another it will take its automation with it.

I hope this helps.

Cheers

Re: Direct audio in Sampler or Simpler

Hi,

You would have to record the audio first and then drag it into one of the instruments.

What are you trying to achieve? There will almost certainly be an appropriate effect to do the job instead.

Thanks

Re: Record automation without erasing others on the same track?

Hi Guys,

If you turn off the track record arm button and then hit record in the transport bar at the top of the page you will be able to add new automation without deleting any of the old stuff.

I hope this is the answer you are looking for.

Thanks

there is a small lock in the top right of the arrange page. turn this on and you should be good to go.

Re: empty Drumrack preset?

Hi,

Yes this is the solution. Go into the dropping samples / drum racks folder and save the simpler settings that you want exclusively for the drum rack here. You can navigate to this in the Live's browser and drag and drop.

Track Duplicate Not Fully Copying Macros

I've noticed that when duplicating a track any adjustments to the min / max values of mapped macros does not duplicate. The mappings do but if the min and max values have been changed they do not.

Re: automating pitch

Hi,

Try the frequency shifter effect. Also you can try the transpose, detune, fine tune etc in a sampler.

Re: Albeton keys

Whoa there..... You sound like you have 100 questions to be answered and I think your best bet is to read the midi section of the manual.

If you have qustions after that then fire them up on here and i'll have a go at answering them for you.

First Release

Hi All, I'm really chuffed as my new collaboration has proven successful and we've had our first remix signed as MIDI09 All made in Live, with hardly any external effects. https://www.beatport.com/en-US/html/content/track/catalog?contextEntityId=116420&contextType=artists&pageNumber=1&pe...
