yes, this is probably a problem we just noticed:
when installing the Basics Live Pack of Live 6
(this happens automatically during the first start)
some samples that came with Live 5 are removed.

As said, we will provide a Live Pack with these samples
during the next few days.

the size of Live Packs is currently limited to 2GB.

Depending on the compression ratio for the sound files,
projects up to about 4GB can be put into a Live Pack.

the download, they will appear on the Live Pack download
page soon.

there is also the option 'Solo in Place' in the context menu
of the Solo buttons (right-click) that determines whether
the return tracks are included, maybe this is what you are
looking for?

the asd files are created when the samples are used for the
first time, there is no need to created them in advance.

The .asd files are very small compared to the samples,
they will not need much extra space.

Hi,

likely, these are samples from the Essentials Live Pack
of Live 5, we will provide a Live 5 Compatiblity Pack
that should fix the problem.

You can change the library location in Live's
preferences (misc->library path)
