loading samples from packs into third party applications
I am trying to load up .aif files which I downloaded from Ableton packs into Kontakt (and as a test when this didn't work I tried Audacity) without success. I am sure this used to work, I recently upgraded to windows 10 - could this be causing the problem? I downloaded an .aif file from a non-Ableto...

Re: Have we lost something since we killed "the demo"
I know that Beethoven for instance had bits of unfinished works all over the place he lived in and would recombine them later on. Yeah, but then his kicks really sucked, everyone knows that  Haha - spot on - the Beethoven kick is what let him down - otherwise he'd have been a superstar. And t...

Re: So...anyone attending the moronic Burning Man thing?
but that's the only way musicians get paid now - expensive festivals.
It's shit value but punters seem happy to pay 100 quid to stand in a field watching their idols hit spacebar for 3 or 4 hours.
I wouldn't knock it - it's one of the only ways to make money now for museos!
Cheers

Re: Sample Library on external drive?
just get a bigger internal disk - 2 gb for 50 quid or whatever - not worth the hassle of external except for backups imo

what is in 9.2 beta?
Sorry everyone - been away from the beta scene for a while - just downloaded the latest one.
I was quite underwhelmed - is it still just the 2 window session/arrangement view thing?
Is that really it?
Cheers

Iris is damn expensive though - when everything else is becoming free.....stringtapper wrote:I really hope not.
I use RX daily for audio restoration work and I don't know of anything that matches its features in that price range.
Iris is a great sound design tool too.

Re: So, who's ready for Windows 10?
Any PC users who are itching to take the plunge? Considering upgrading will (most likely) be free and all... I absolutely loathe W8, but it seems like they've addressed the most egregious annoyances in 10. I'm sure some of you have already taken 10 for a spin, so what's the verdict? Also, does anyo...
