I guess the event already happened... how was it? I will be comming out to NYC for a week (27-5)... i would love it if some locals could clue me in on some hot spots for live laptop fun. SOS does have a lot of articals... i could not find the ipod/HD one.. can someone post a direct link?

And the ipod usally loads the mp3 into its 32mb of memory to play it... so most of the time the disk is not spining.(this is a good thing)

I have the 828 and a RME multiface... if you are going PC get the RME if you are going mac get the RME if you dont have one of those 2 tibook rev's.. .out side of that the 828 is good, but NO WAY would i use mine on the PC.

I dont know if anyone else is having this issue, but i can not get to this website by typing in www.ableton.com into my browser.. i have tried it on sooooo many computers. I dont have this issue when going to any other webiste, but as of a couple of months ago www.ableton.com is not working for me, ...

I have the same issue with my 828, i have not tryed it out latly and have uninstalled the drivers, so i cant do the test and then send the log file, but the issue does exsist.

the 4 control is a Native Instruments product, but we discontinued it months ago. The 10 control is made and still sold by IBK.

In future i'll use a 10 meter midi cable, and perform front-stage or walk around. Frank That is what i indend to do as well, only i find that i need to power the pocket dial... do you find that you need power to pd? 15 feet of midi is not big deal, but i cant find a 15 foot wallwart powersuply. with the emi 2|6... what kind of latency are you getting? how do you like it... and do you use it with an AC power or just from the usb bus?
