Alt + Click on waveform to audition slice
I have made others aware of my need for this, but i have a suggestion. And i dont see how it could not be implemented with complete ease. (btw i am no programmer) We have the speaker icon for playing the clip. It plays the whole clip. Why cant we have it just playing the slice? To make things easier...

Re: Scrubbing through an audio clip
I think you may require what i need as well, but what some fanboys here seem to think is unneccessary...which is slice auditioning. If i am correct, you want to hear both sides of the where a marker is stamped, and exclusively the marker you have focus on. SO that it doesnt loop over and over. In my...

Desperately needs legato in Midi Editor
As above.
Being forced to edit each note length is becoming a pain. I know you can fix note length.
This is not enough. No midi plug in can do this either. I need to legato the notes in one fell swoop. Not too much to ask is it?

they should have buttons for this. At least 4. Mapping to a knob sucks. Oh well.

Re: rescan midi inputs?
+1 for this. Been able to do this on logic (PC) since forever. Along with retro record (ok, OT). both essential "live" features.
some people (mac snobs) really think they know it all here dont they? I d love to hear their music (not).

Re: Retrospective record
bump decided i need the old retro record along with session automation (hell, retro record for that please too). can you imagine THAT?? you could just tweak away and then call up bars upon bars of "in the moment" magic! Hitting a creative wall here, cos i want to perform each section of th...

recording midi without deleting automation?
I might be being dumb, but when i arm a midi track and attempt to overdub new notes, it deletes the automation data that is already recorded on that synth. I am in arrange page and have an envelope being automated. I want to play new notes in while keeping this envelope moving. The envelope data get...

Re: Novation LAUNCHPAD: new dedicated controller for Live!!!
DOM :Why is that in your case? Is it because they're not drum pads that don't move and react directly to pressure instead of the button action in case of the APC buttons (the way it moves down a few millimeters when pressed)? If so, the Launchpad buttons are bigger, but have nearly the same height ...

Re: Novation LAUNCHPAD: new dedicated controller for Live!!!
yeah that subfunk guy is being ridiculous....anyway....This launchpad.... Does it trigger clips better than the Apc? Cos APC sucks at triggering anything approaching an uptempo/drum solo feel. (example: triggering breaks at 170bpm with 1/8th quantisation) Truly disapponted with it WHEN compared to m...

Re: APC or Launch Pad?
This IS an apc killer! I have an apc too... If i can trigger clips/scenes and (WOW) notes HALFWAY as smoothly as my padkontrol this will win for me. The apc has slightly disappointed me with its pad interface,to me it feels clunky and is too small. What do you guys think? I cannot seem to trigger cl...

Re: Novation Launch Pad or Livid Ohm64?
dont mean to be a killjoy but i cant see the lividohm standing much of a chance now. Granted i have never even seen one in the flesh or used one, but it looks a bit dated and is expensive imo. Akai and Novation are cleaning up here.
