I also tried it, the sound is very nice and the GUI is much more responsive than in Live and I also noticed that I get a lot less clicks than in Live.
Only downside for me at the moment is that Push isnt that good supported ... yet

How to hide the overview of a group track in Arrange View?
Hi,
is there a way to hide this overview of a group track in Arrangement View, please?
Without them anything would look much cleaner and the space could be used much more efficient

Re: The Great BitWig Migration
Anyone compared the performance of Bitwig with Live ?
Especially at higher load and low buffer rates.
Can you drive Bitwig upto 80% load at 256samples Buffer without dropouts or artifacts ?

This sound sample might be more useful than words :) https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/75681914/switchingScenesAt256samples.mp3 I quickly recorded audio while switching scenes (no artistic meaning here:), the click will always audible when immediately when I click a 'scene play button' or start a...

Re: OSX + Live Audio Performance
That does sound like a CPU overload or audio buffer underrun to me. You don't say anything about CPU load so I have to assume it was low? And for this recording it was all frozen tracks to? That would leave something connected to audio interface timing or similar. Alternatively, if this is a glitch...

Re: OSX + Live Audio Performance
I try to narrow down the issue. Is there a way to detect if one core is ovreloaded? how? I just created a new project with multiple instances of Serum with 4x oversampling enabled to reach 45 % CPU load, no clicks so it must be specific to the plugins I have loaded in my current working project. I a...

also check your machine with DPC latency checker : http://www.thesycon.de/deu/latency_check.shtml Great tip, but is there some OS X alternative as this tool is for windows? I suppose also installing windows and run Live 9 from there is an alternative way to make sure the issues aren't with the audi...

Re: OSX + Live Audio Performance
Hi, your machine is basically a beast ! check that one core is not 100%. also check your machine with DPC latency checker : http://www.thesycon.de/deu/latency_check.shtml when you lower your latency, you basically imply the need for a tighter timing. if you see some jumps try disabling the device y...

Re: OSX + Live Audio Performance
No friend with an original Mac? it doesn't matter if your OS X is legit and you have the latest RME drivers, as no-one have tested their respective software on your type of hardware. You might get RME to help you out though. Have you contacted them? If you want, you can PM me and I could test your ...

Re: OSX + Live Audio Performance
What happens if you freeze tracks? What happens if you run this on another Mac or with another audio interface? Unfortunately I think this may be a general issue. I've had them since Mavericks, but to a lesser extent than what you describe. On the other hand, you can't expect OS X 10.10 to work ful...
