You can press accent button this will change between pressure sensitive and full velocity.
also try changing the log in user mode

push encoders to control external instrument automation
I'm new to push, trying to work out how to map push to control a external instruments automation (reason combinator). have found a m4l device that lets you map pitch and mod wheel but i really want to map combinator rotarys and record the automation. If some one could point me in the right directiion

I exported a midi envelope from reason and found i could drag it into arrangement view but not clip view, was a matter of copy and paste to get it into clip. But the envelope loop needs to be the same length as the clip in live. My reason for trying this (no pun intended) was i really want to use li...

You can only edit the automation in clip view at the bottom.select the clip in arrangement view then clip view will appear, select envelopes and which reason parameter you want to edit. i find it easier the map reason devices i want to control to a combinatior knob or button as the list of parameter...

You might need an amp to drive the speakers.
most pc speakers have built in amps as output from computer will only drive headphones

Eq on kick find dominant freqs , cut them all now move this eq to bass channel.

Listen to mix from another room. this will give you an idea of what's too loud.

using the auto filters you could map the on/off for each filter to the lo hi macros so that it doesn't affect sound when not in use.
