Re: Please try out my free Prepared Piano Live Pack
the samples start from c3 not c4 - and there's no extra expansion to buy, what you hear is what you get:) What do you mean no extra expansion? I counted octaves on my Yamaha keyboard and it's the C4, but it is possible that there's some run-time transpose is in action due to some settings. Andrejs

Re: Please try out my free Prepared Piano Live Pack
I really don´t get it. Here are beautiful set of samples and only 11 replies and hundred of replies for an stupid thread initiated by a nut (cprezzz or whatever his name is). I don´t get it... Uwe These are very good quality samples indeed, however, it's a shame they start from C4 only :) Have you ...

Re: Where are the Volume controls for midi tracks?
Yeah, you can't adjust the volume in a MIDI track unless there is an instrument on it producing audio. MIDI is just a control protocol. You can, however, put in the MIDI effect Velocity and adjust the velocity of the notes. It may have different results though depending on your settings in Sampleta...

Re: Best wav editing software?
I am using Amadeus Pro which is well priced and performs all basic operations that I need. However it has a few bugs that need to be sorted out that make it crash on a rare occasion. Other than that the interface is pretty nice and intuitive, it also supports external plugins and plugin chains, mark...

Re: purpose of BOX suite 8 upgrade, if already own box suite 7?
Although we have paid more for the box, the manual has degraded in quality. The Live 6 Suite and Live 7 Suite we had a nice SPIRAL bound copy of the manual. This lets you open pages flat. The Live 8 Suite manual sucks. It's a bound paperback that opens like a book. It's a matter of taste as well, I...

Re: anybody here w/10000RPM hardrive in macbook pro?
Maybe I don't get the advantage but when I went from a 5400 rpm to a 7200 rpm drive in my MBP the only boost I noticed was how it got hotter faster. I don't think I have the same experience as beats me with my 7200 Seagate drive in my Black Book. While I definitely noticed quite some performance in...

audio technica ATH-M50.. read the reviews.. can't go wrong for the money.. These are good phones indeed, especially for the price they sell, but they are closed type. Their primarily use is for recording applications. For mixing you need to preferably have open type phones, as they usually give mor...
