Re: Setting Macro to skip certain intervals of parameter?

you can do this with buttons instead of knobs, If your midi controller allows you to assign a specific value to the buttons output. on my remote SL 25 MK1 I do this all the time. step 1: Map the macro. step 2: create a couple of buttons on your midi controller all sending the same midi CC#, lets say...

Re: reaktor or max?

If you want a huge amount of unique instruments and FX right out of the box go with reaktor, if you want to be able to add features to Live then choose M4L. I work in Live and Digital Performer so I chose to stick with reaktor as it runs in any DAW, not just live. M4L's biggest strenght is the abili...

Re: anyone used beatlookup & lucifer to compare?

I'm also trying to add copy & paste functions to a synth engine, anyone know of any ensembles that have that so I can look at the structure. I've got a drum machine with copy & paste but the method used to implement it seems a little out of place for what I would need, looking for other variations o...

Re: anyone used beatlookup & lucifer to compare?

no, you'd need to use an lfo in core. thanks for the heads up, you just saved me a LOT of time, thanks. I have also got a build request/suggestion for chris or salamander, whoever feels like building it. I recently built a little smart knob system using an event table, but getting smooth accurate c...

Re: anyone used beatlookup & lucifer to compare?

I'm coming along a little slowly on this whole switch thing and I just wanted to check a few details. I understand how the switch works for turning things off and on inside of core, but can this method turn things off and on outside of core? here is an example. I've got an LFO going into oscillator ...

Re: anyone used beatlookup & lucifer to compare?

Thank you both very much, I'm going to do some experimenting and see if I can get the hang of this.

I just happen to have today wide open so I'll post back after I get a chance to try some of these things out.

Thanks again.

Re: anyone used beatlookup & lucifer to compare?

Thanks for the reply but I should have been more specific, it was oki computer 2.1 that I was taking the oscillator from, totally different type of oscillator engine. about 10 min after I posted that question I figured out what to do to make it work, it took several switches to turn everything off a...

Re: anyone used beatlookup & lucifer to compare?

I've got a question for you Chris, I'm playing around with oki computer right now and extracting just the oscillator components, which I've done without any issues. the problem comes in where I am trying to put a switch on the oscillator so that it can be turned on or off. its for an ensemble with s...
