tbh I don't install these packs legacy live 8 and partner instruments

i have suite and barely use some of the packs

I think that's just how it is native instruments will do the same thing like with different options for kontakt and such

I have trueverb waves also and it is waveshell.dll is a folder with 3 different trueverbs mono trueverb stero and trueverb mono/stereo

theres a little box on the top left when you start ableton says 120 by default it is the global bpm you can change it slower to match your recording and then do the drums

I have launch control and I have to say I was underwhelmed by its controlling live aspect you basically have to hold the factory button and press pad 1-3 to selecr the different control mechanisms like sends , faders, device but it works pretty good when you get used to it and I think the knobs are ...

waves trueverb is also free right now but its not as cool as soundtoys little alterboy imo

I had a similar problem but with padshop and retrolouge Steinberg vst

it turned out being I needed to reinstall live 9.5 clean after I updated somehow things got messed up or I deleted something

but after I installed live again it all showed back up

I use audio tracks often because I don't have a super strong cpu , amd fx 6300

sometimes I just bounce to audio after I get them how I like

I use Steinberg ur22 and it has preamp , 48v phantom power, and "hi-z" whatever that is im not sure so much I like to record clean into the daw with my interface on direct monitor mode and then add the processing after I just think I do better that way I bet there is a lot of other process...

don't ditch use both is what I would do

I don't like how it will pick the dark colors with the white text
the white text just looks ugly I think and blurry around the edges
I use just default grey skin

I think ableton is a good company

but I don't think there is no best company

imo all companies and their daws have strong points that the others don't have

you know how in options choose sample editor I wish ableton native
not choose external
I don't care if you sell as addon but please

I feel confident in ableton for future updates honestly I think theyre saving sampler for later

with this update they added some pretty nice things and it is more than I expected of it when I found out

I hope they update more live instruments in the future

Microsoft is not transparent at all really

how many times did they try to sneak in the windows 10 installer under a recommended update

and you have to click multiple links to see what the update even do

Microsoft makes me want to switch to mac personally because of their shenanigans recently
