Here's Why...

Cause it would be nice to have a production assistant put warp markers in the several thousand files I need to import for DJing. I don't like fiddling around with that kind of thing during a performance, ya know? And there are only so many hours in a day. If there's going to be .rex support it would...

Offline .EXE for setting warp markers.

It'd be nice to have an offline utility that could be used to set warp points. Either that or make it so Live can read markers embedded in .wav or .aiff files from other programs like SoundForge or Peak and translate those to warp markers.

When trying to rename a clip, the 'Edit' menu item changes from 'Rename' to 'Remove Stop Button'... WHA?

How does one rename clips?

Warp Sound Quality

When warping long samples [i.e. whole songs], would there be a performance benefit by breaking up the samples into smaller pieces? Older versions of time stretching software, like Time Bandit, would produce better results when fed smaller bits. Dunno if it matters in Live.

What say ye?

Super-Easy Feature Request

When mousing over clips in session mode, show the whole clip name... it breaks concentration to have to look at the bottom of the screen. Generally the contrast of the text color to the background color makes it hard to see without squinting. 8O
