Still seeing a delay in sequencer data sent from a max for live device. Bummer.
The delay is microscopic but enough to throw certain functions off.
What's odd is that most VST based sequencers are spot on for timing.
Unless there is something I'm missing. Wouldn't be the first time.

Re: LIVE 9.2b1 Discuss....
Hoping this update eliminates delay in m4l midi devices. Regardless of how minimal that delay is, it prohibits some really interesting things.

Re: SHifTED Radio: Looking for DJs and Playlist Material
Welp, first things first, my intentions aren't to promote the station. I actually wasn't thinking "maybe these people will listen?" at all if you would believe. As far as why I'm doing what I'm doing, for me it's just a fun project that I've always wanted to give a go at. Maintained my own...

SHifTED Radio: Looking for DJs and Playlist Material
Hey guys, feel free to move this where appropriate. Just launched a new internet radio station and am looking for talented people to start filling up a live broadcast schedule as well as submit original material for daily rotations. Open to all styles, but definitely leftfield/experimental leaning. ...

Re: Access Audio Clip Reverse Button?
It's not accessible via the live api so it's not possible to do anything with it through max for live.

Re: Live.step timing....
I've goofed off with plugsync~ quite a bit. Seems to yield almost the same results. Will have to check out this polyrythym device. Despite having live 9 suite for a while now, don't think I've seen it. It would be nice if there was a way to start any sort of sync/sequence method slightly before live...

Live.step timing....
I was wondering if anyone had any techniques to play around with the live.step objects timing. I've been using metro @ inverval @ quantize at various ticks and rates, but there is always a slight delay in the first note out in relation to the launch of ableton's transport. For most applications this...

Re: midi map a bang button
I believe for the live.button object, within the inspector you can change a specific attribute so that it will send a bang no matter what. You can then just use chapelier fou's suggestion and change the colors of on and off to match to cause less confusion. Maybe link it to another gui object so the...

Re: Merging multiple kicks for use in single drum rack cell.
You can group them within a drum rack cell. Or just rack them, make a midi clip, freeze, and bounce if you just want that single sample.

Live.step lifeline
I've come a long way on it, but I am officially stumped. Have a live.step object configured to have multiple sequences.
Only problem is, all sequences play simultaneously.
Messed around with gate and help and references, plugged this in here...deleted that there....I'm stumped.

Re: Is it possible?
Ms. Sparky is very interesting.
Have you or anyone had a look at the new "gain" object? It's listed here under Clip:

Apparently has get/set/listen.

Is it possible?
Hey guys. Just starting out in max for live and have some basics down. I have a series of specific devices in mind, but one that I'm having trouble with finding a lead on how to accomplish. Not looking for a "do it this way" answer, more just a nudge in the right direction of what types of...
