has anyone got a pdf, or a link to a good djing with ableton tutorial pleeese?

ive sussed it now! finally managed to find where to set the tempo range!

one thing I would like to know is how the live djs like sasha route their mix back thru abelton so they can apply effects

how do I set the range of the tempo?

right say i'm djing using 2 x cdj1000's and now want to drop some ableton loops in over the top of my mix, how do I get ableton to sync to the cdj tempo? at the moment its great for chucking in stabs and fx but when i'm dropping in loops (which are as close to the tempo as i can get) they slightly d...

so your tracks dont drop out of tempo, when marking warps every 8 bars, yeh?

ive been thru a few warping and djing tutorials, but cant get the warping functions to speak to each other. I have put the start marker on say a whole mp3 house tune and then the same on the nexty tune, but they always drift. im setting the warp to re-pitch? how can i get it to run exactly the same ...

Right so I add markers at relevant points using abelton, then if it drifts and can just jig it on to warp marker x ?

I have one cdj1000 2x 1210's and now introducing abelton into the set up.

what do you mean when you say I haven't warped the tracks properly.

I cut them to the beginning of the beat etc and they are the same tempo (well as close as I can get it on the decks, b4 I ripped them to my pc)

I ripped 3 12 vinyls to my harddrive and thought i'd have a go at mixing them in abelton.

well one of the 3 tracks always drops out, even thou the warp says the exact tempo as the other tracks.

I mixed them to the same tempo on my decks before ripping them???
