The feature I am looking for in all ipad apps is: drum rack mixer contro. No one offers it, and I can't understand why since mixing drums is essential and no other controller provides it. I would get any app that did this. . im pretty sure touchable does this - at least in v2 it was easy to open up...

drum rack control is why i bought PUSH. i though it would be the ultimate drum controller, something like maschine inside ableton. big disappointment when i found out that you cant control drum rack sub tracks in the mixer of session view. in my opinion live should be able to map the sub track fader...

I'm not a drummer but if I were, I'd use my Alesis Control Pad (not pro).

8 velocity sensitive pads, channel and cc per pad. Cheap, but probably only used units available (think it went out of production)

I keep aksing myself the same question. If i recall correctly, live 8 would map the apc's faders to the drum rack mixer when unfolded. Wasnt ideal but better than what we have now which is... Nothing

Totally agree. Digitals demos didnt convince me totally and i just started to like string machines son i went ensemble. I totally love it, its even good for really analogue sounding bass.
