Good to hear you found the patch useful! I actually enjoy little API puzzles like this.

Re: does exclusive arm work in max for live?
Right on, let me know how it goes.
After re reading your initial post, I'm not sure if the patch I posted does what you initially set out to do, but it does give you an option for exclusive arming.
P.S. You MUST be the same slatepipe who has posted at the KMI forums right?

Re: does exclusive arm work in max for live?
If you are arming a track via M4L, it wouldn't be too hard to iterate over tracks, and unarm any armed tracks before arming the target track (sorry that's a confusing sentence, hope you see what I mean). Basically cooking your own exclusive arming function.

Re: quantize button pushes
You could also set up a device that quantizes incoming data as well. You could use it to pass quantized MIDI, or to carry out various API tasks.

Re: [ Feature request ] In Max4Live – add note timestamp outlet
Like I said over on the cycling forums not likely to happen. I don't see them changing their MIDI implementation to include some non standard data format. But if it's in a MIDI clip, why not get the information via some other means? As Radio On Mars suggested? there's plenty of Clip operations that ...

Not sure if it exists but you can quantize messages to the Live API using M4L.

Re: Assign knob to MIDI Ctrl controllers
That device sends CC 17 by default with the second knob...The CC number is defined with the numboxes on the right, and the value is sent with that knob. Verified by MIDI monitor, and by recording the outgoing MIDI into a clip. The device does exactly what you are requesting, you probably have your r...

Re: Size-/Decay-parameter automation in ConvolRev isn't working!
I could be wrong here, but the size and the decay are 'offline' process it appears. They calculate after you adjust the parameter, not continuously. This might have something to do with not being able to automate.

Arming a track in Session View on Push 2
I don't have my Push 1 with me at the moment, and I am doing some tracking. If I recall correctly you could arm/disarm audio tracks from the Push 1 hardware. Is this possible on Push 2?

Re: Push 2 - Nobody´s missing audio clip chopping from PXT?
That is a similar effect, but not really the same thing at all, from a playability standpoint. I am curious why Ableton hasn't made this feature part of the Push Workflow, all the function calls are there now.

Re: Push 2 - Nobody´s missing audio clip chopping from PXT?
It's totally possible to do it with the touch encoders, but I think they were pointing to a solution that didn't involve M4L. just to mention that this IS possible even without any additional devices, by using the encoders. But there is no more chance to use the pads for chopping, wich was fantastic...

Re: Push 2 - Nobody´s missing audio clip chopping from PXT?
If you can show me how to do what that device does with encoders on the Push, I would be very surprised. This uses the pads to chop any clip that's playing, not entirely clear how that can be done with just encoders...

Re: Push 2 - Nobody´s missing audio clip chopping from PXT?
If you're looking to chop audio in real time with the Push, I made a device a while back that grabs the currently playing clip, and divides it into 16 slices, playable from the Push (or other controllers). Maybe not exactly what you're looking for, but I thought I'd throw it out there: http://www.ma...
