It seems to be taking forever ... when reading things like this, im kinda glad i don't own the suite... is it only me being a little bitter about ableton these days? I get frequent crashes just by moving tracks around in the arrange and the manage files function sees used files as unused and delete...

try making a locator and 'set start time here' you can drag the locator around as you work on different sections thanx man, thats a smart workaround but makes it difficult to quickly navigate and record into various parts of a song... stop bringing you exactly where you were would still be more log...

Am i the only one to find totally useless the fact that double clicking on the stop button brings you back to the beginning??? Can we have the option to desactivate this??? For me right now this is very annoying coz in a recording/editing session im navigating live through a mackie control emulation...

Hi guys, In (edit) 8.04!!!, when using manage files -? manage project -? unused files -? show Live includes some files that are actually used in the arrangement!!!!!!!!!!!! It did that for ALL the projects I tested it. There's always from one to 3 files to get trashed. These files are audio recorded...

funny the sound engineer i work with once asked me if i want my stuff optimized for mp3 or cd... he said he actually "much" prefers the mp3 sound. I was like, man, he's being so full of shit trying to sound as if he hears things i don't wel... guess he does
