I need more midi notes to trigger clips
So I have a setup in Live where i duplicate a loop 8 times and change the start point in each, kind of like a Beat Look Up type deal so i can chop up the beat live. I'm using Bomes to switch which set of loops is controlled by my midi controller which has 16 buttons. Problem is, i'm running out of m...

midi knob assigned to clip trigger WITH RANGE
Normally when you assign a midi knob to a function you get a range option, from 0-64, the knob turns on an effect 65-127, it turns off. But when you assign a midi knob to trigger a clip, that option is not available. I just realized this would solve one of my big problems because I'm running out of ...

Re: Some Real Robot Rock!
Yo! We have some shows coming up in NYC. In two weeks, july 18, there's a cool party we'll be playing. It should be super fun. No cover, just this tight little spot in Nolita called Eight Mile Creek. Anyone that's interested should totally come out. DJing and dancing till the break of dawn too. Chec...

Re: 8.04 can suck my ass
"I was using a few VSTs and had 2 audio inputs for guitars." did you have amplitube? it kept crashing on me, and then someone else here said that if they have any clips in the arrange view it makes amplitube crash. I tried that and it worked. well worked in that i can use it live, but not ...

Re: Some Real Robot Rock!
Thanks. The UMC32 is awesome. I'm coming from no experience, and it worked flawlessly since day one. I'm actually thinking about buying three more for a new controller. Two for the controls and one for LEDs. I'm kind of waiting for the Livid MidiDIY to come out though. That one seems really powerful...

Re: creating dry/wet knob for FX that don't have one?
cool, that's exactly what i was looking for. without having tried it i'm going to guess that the volume will fluctuate if your just doing it with volume knobs, but i'll start messing around with it and see what i can do. The reason i don't want to do it with sends is because it would be for live use...

Crashing!!! All... The...time...
So I'm working on a pretty simple song with two grouped tracks and when I start to move loops around within the groups, Live crashes. Another thing that seems to crash Live is randomly when I'm drawing in midi notes. Anytime I have an acual work in progress with some drum tracks, some synth parts, s...
