Yeah, I think A/B with the Live mixer bit might ultimately be the best solution, just turn off Ozone (be cool if this could be automated with the mixer slider somehow) when I'm on the already mastered track. Always open to other idea though.
Thanks.

Volume Matching Between Live and Playback (iTunes)?
Hi all; I'm trying to figure out a good way to get an equal volume from a(ny) track I'm working on in Live vs. what I hear coming from iTunes. Right now, for daily normal/comfortable listening to various store bought/mastered tracks, I have my FireBox set to "high noon" and iTunes set anyw...

Ableton Remote Control and Remote Sound?
Hi All; Trying to work this out. I have a PC and would like to be able to send audio from Live to a remote set of speakers, and then control the live mixer (not as worried about the other stuff, just checking the mix on alternate speakers in different rooms) via an iTouch. I've heard OSC may be able...

Re: iDrum users?
The VST is magnitudes better, not that the iPhone app is bad (I have all three flavors). Swing would be nice, for example. Anyway, it's very much Reason ReDrum with the VST iDrum. Very cool minus the minimal outs.

iDrum users?
Hey yo, Was wondering if anyone else is using iDrum and could help me wrap my head around how to part out the different tracks separately. By default it sends bass, snare, hat, etc on one channel like Battery or any other drum VST. It also has 8 outs, but that seems a bit odd when you can add many m...

PadKontrol and Drum Racks Weirdness
Hi All; So, my PadKontrol is acting up, at least I think it's the PadKontrol. If I pop in a new or preset drum rack, most of the notes and pads line up correctly, except for the top row on the PadKontrol. It seems to send to the wrong pads on the drum rack. For example, C#2 on the drum rack/ pad 02 ...

Good VST Meters?
Ableton Live has Spectrum, and it's not too shabby, a little basic, but a nice breakout meter that was VST based would be nice. Something along the lines of SpectraFoo ( http://www.mhlabs.com/metric_halo/products/foo/ ), or Spectre ( http://www.audiofile-engineering.com/spectre/ ), but for the PC. T...
