i have a dual xeon, a pentium d, and about to get a merom lappy each with 2 gb of ram in them.. given that something like reaktor is so heavy it would be nice to combine all that power.

yeah i think because of that power management thing my novation remot le got totally fried. so pissed about that.

live 5 is by far the best design user interface for any program i have ever used. big call i know, but within one day of going through tutorials i was able to make a track that i was really pleased with. there isn't another music program i could pick up that quickly and produce something i was happy...

and it would only send infomraiton to live if i was running it as a standalone and not in live itself.

can live 6 recieve internal midi messages from reaktor yet? i know 5 cant and it sucks.

if that worked all i'd have to do is run a reaktor module that output midi notes based on a sequencer layout to impulse. they should make something like that built in to live 6.

hahaha oh my god that thing looks ridiculous. imagine playing a live set and the audience seeing that on your screen. can that thing actually be mapped to midi messages? and it looks like it only supports one track.

a step sequencer. i want to be able to hit virtual buttons arranged in 1/16ths on my wacom (through waocm 2 midi) that will play samples at those times.

that link is kinda right, but it has to recieve midi messages from the wacom to activate the buttons.
