The Dell is one of many options.

You can get a laptop with 7th gen i7 cpu and dedicated GPU for about $1900 probably with 64 GB DDR4 3000 You can add ram on most laptops easily unlike a Mac. Makes video work well.

And a touchscreen, lots of usb ports (usb3 etc) and SD card.

Windows 10 is great.

I've made such a connection and its fine. Levels may be high so keep the amp volume off till you have the cables plugged in then raise the output to a bearable level.

Also this video is similar but uses a Reaktor ins triggered from Spiral in one ens

I just tried this and it works on my PC.

MIDI From must be set to Reaktor in the plugin track.

Have you updated Reaktor to the latest version?

Did you load a VST plugin into the midi track? And set ALL those other steps?

And enable Record?

I would get rid of the M4L device in your setup to see if that caused the error.

Both Microsoft and Apple are very overpriced.

I can build a really decent desktop for less than half the top end laptops. That will do me for music.

Its also a commercial release. There are many excellent and free generative ens in the NI Reaktor User Library.

I believe you have to run them in standalone mode once before the plug in versions will show up. Its time they sorted out that requirement. Surely a simple programming change?
