jBridge - ML Shared Memory error
Hey all, Just downloaded the demo of jBridge 1.5, made a new folder for bridged VST's, then when I try to scan that folder in Live it says MLSharedMemory This Buffer Already Exists (long number) - please report this. I hit OK and the error pops up 9 more times in a row, then stops - no VST's in my p...

A Nuclear Welcoming (post-industrial heavy beat)
Hey everyone, Here's my latest - not sure what genre it would be. I just make music that I think sounds good!! Lots of guitar, some chill spots, also some very heavy stomp hooks. I think this is my best work yet. Any listens and comments? http://soundcloud.com/lienan82/a-nuclear-welcoming-mk2 Andy

NI Komplete 7 and Live
Hi everyone, I would like to have FM8 and Massive... I can get Komplete 7 for less than buying each one individually. I know the latest version is Komplete 8 but it looks like the only difference is extra library material and a couple extra plug-ins that I'm not concerned about. I can get Komplete 7...

Re: Ways to increase performance/free memory?
I am positive it is caused by the CPU (or some kind of glitch like that). I just resampled the two clips onto one track, one measure in length. It plays fine that way. It's when the computer is trying to loop quickly that it's causing it I think? The 16th note loop is in Complex Pro and it is transp...

Ways to increase performance/free memory?
Hi all, I recently bought a Win 7 AMD quad core 2.1 ghz computer. 64 bit OS with 6 gig ram. I use a Line 6 UX1 ASIO interface. I have made a few tracks and never had problems with CPU usage or clicks until tonight. I made just two clips playing in the same scene. One of them is a warped drum loop th...

Industrial-sorta track - needs some changes. Any advice?
Hey everyone, Here's a track I worked on last weekend and plan to revisit this weekend. I like the sounds there are some pretty cool parts. Only problem is it's one of those things where I can't really see where it's going. It's mostly TAL plug-ins, experimenting with volume and pan stutters, and a ...

Audio clip - preserving original tempo
Hey all, Today I came up with some cool one-shot kind of things on a track that was 120 BPM (master BPM). There were warped audio clips and I had them laid out on my launchpad so I could jam on them. Later I opened a different project that is at 82 BPM. I went to the library and dragged those same s...

Re: Setting Up VST Library
Thanks, that worked! Do you guys usually let VST's install to their default folders and then just copy the .dll to your plugin's folder? Or do you try to keep all that stuff in its own place too? Just curious how I can do a better job being organized.

Re: Setting Up VST Library
Hey, I think I have a similar problem. I have two plug-in's right now. Line 6 POD and Minimogue VST. Line 6 installed into its own folder in C:\programfiles(x86)\Line6. That was my only plug-in so I had that path as my custom plug-in folder. Then I added Minimogue VST which I purposely installed to ...

Re: How to group two midi tracks to one INSTRUMENT rack
OK let me try to make it more clear. I can drag an instrument rack into a MIDI track and then drop different instruments into it. I know that. But let's say I have two MIDI tracks, track 1 and 2, each with their own single instruments already in them. Parameters have been tweaked to taste and each t...

How to group two midi tracks to one INSTRUMENT rack
Hey everyone, Let's say I have a track with a synth bass on it and a few midi clips and effects. On the next track I have a synth lead on it with midi clips and effects. I want to create an instrument rack with the bass as one device and the lead as another device. Is there a quick way to merge thos...
