What kind of cables are you using?
I use the Expert Sleepers 1/4" TRS to 1/8" TS cables made especially for using with DC-coupled audio interfaces.

Re: The official day the fun died!
I have always had a big problem with people not being civil online I was wondering for a moment if my memory wasn't a bit distorted  Just kidding of course! I originally started that post by saying "I blame myself." I was one of the worst, for sure, but somehow always skirted t...

Re: The official day the fun died!
I have always had a big problem with people not being civil online, which ironically manifested in letting myself become even more vitriolic as a way to sort of police people by shocking or shaming them into behaving back in the old days of this forum. Of course this rarely worked and usually just r...

No, it doesn’t. Where are you getting that?BrotherYao wrote: ↑Fri Jan 08, 2021 2:34 pmYes, I tried, but [transport] needs [metro] to get driven, this is a paradox.

Re: Unstable
I vote for Unstable. I programm my own M4L Devices for many years now and Live with M4L was never realy stable. I would never use Live with M4L in a live situation. Shure it could be my M4L devices or not. I would be usefull to know what causes the crashes or what device. This crashes happen on all...

Re: Unstable
That’s right. Max was created by a performer (Miller Puckette) for performers. It’s purpose was literally to make programming control structures and instruments more accessible for musicians . Also, the likelihood that most people who use M4L view it simply as a repository of free Ableton Live devic...

Re: Reverse Audio in Realtime
There are?
What the OP is asking for is time travel. Let’s say I play a melody that starts on a B5 and ends on an E4. This magical computer is somehow supposed to play the E4 before I even play it myself? Before I even know I’m going to play it??
Nah.

Re: connecting nord stage as a midi keyboard in abelton live
The Nord Stage 1 line (including all revisions and the EX) is not capable of MIDI over USB. That wasn’t implemented until the Stage 2.
So you will have to connect the 5-pin DIN In/Out ports to your iConnectivity.

Even the best MIDI tracking pickup/interface is only going to track as cleanly as you can play.

Re: Show Flats not Sharps???????
As far as I know every DAW that displays pitch names uses sharps exclusively. Its a limitation with the original MIDI spec itself and just a fact of life in computer music because there are contextual intricacies when it comes to accidentals and key signatures that can be tough to program. For insta...

Re: Question about using an external SSD for sample libraries
Safe, advisable, and definitely faster. I use a 1TB SSD USB-C drive for my live keyboard rig that holds all of my sample libraries (Kontakt, Live, Logic/MainStage, Omnisphere). I would never go back to a mechanical drive.
