Does audio quality get affected if I "up convert" from 44100 to 48000?

Noob here trying to figure out how to properly export my track. The finished track was created at 44100 sample rate and now I want to export it for regular mp3 listening. When mixing, does it matter if I change the volume on individual channels vs just the group channel? Like, if I want to lower all my bass channels in a track, is it better to lower the volume of each bass channel individually vs just lowering my bass group channel? Does it matter or effect audio qua...
