If Mitt Romney wins: I'm completely giving up on this country, and I will spend the rest of my days on a cocaine and booze run with a hot blonde escort named Alice....... Actually, I shall do the same if Obama wins.
Cause we are totally fucked either way

Re: finally... BITWIG STUDIO! beta soon...

There is no ReWire support planned I'm curious to see how that will be taken by those who were acting like this would be the second coming. ...

+ 1 for learn as you go.
nobody is a master, some people are experts and that just means their knowledge is extensive, but not infinite.

Re: finally... BITWIG STUDIO! beta soon...
I don't think Live has changed significantly between version 6 ( when I started using ) and 8 ( an upgrade I've yet to bother with ). I'm not even sure Live has needed to change much though... but certainly, the upgrades didn't add functionality, in the way they claim. and certainly, plenty of us we...

Re: finally... BITWIG STUDIO! beta soon...
what's the vibe on the DAW-agnostic sites like KVR? Mexican standoff? much ado about nothing? great things ahead? Well I got a thread locked for posting a cat gif, but it's generally positive. Mostly people who didn't like Live for various reasons are excited to some ridiculous degree, then others ...

And an expensive piece of software http://www.dv247.com/computer-music-sof ... are--93544
expensive because: if that is the real price, the feature set isn't there to support it. Its not cubase, sonar, or something. its a naked 1.0

Maybe you are right. I've edited my post above. To state my point, and be a little more gentle.

Re: Reaktor Version 6.0
Seems to be lost in the woods. I wonder if it will ever see the light of day. One might think, "maybe this year, maybe this year." But its going to be nearly a decade of Reaktor 5 soon. So my brothers and sisters, ladies and gentlemen of music and music productionville, we wait. Some of w...

Re: how do you guys sample, and chop in ableton?
It all starts with a joint, a beer, and a break... You roll the joint, pop the beer, and import the break. Once your feeling shit, you look for the transients. Transients are key. I always said, "the world wouldn't need war, if our drums had better transients." Once you find the transients...

Re: Live 8 gets 64bit support.
only gripe i can find so far is all the izotope plugs. none of them show up as 64bit versions even though their installers ask for both 32 and 64 bit vst locations. jbridge helps but i dont think its a stable solution in the longer run. Have you gone into your preferences to locate your 64 bit fold...
