Re: Ultralite MK3: no way to enable "... includes computr output

Soundflower is really easy to use. Once installed, when you need to record something from your computer, just go the audio/midi system config and select the Soundflower as your system output. Then, in Live's preferences select soundflower as your input. Done.
Live's output will still be the motu btw.

Re: Starting Max Editor... can't edit devices

That is fucking strange!!! Like the machine is getting out of control. It's very SF! And if you save or clone your HD and re-install everything? I know it's a brutal way of dealing with the problem, but I'm curious, and after all, what else can you do? The world's going crazy! :) Je croise les doigt...

Re: Starting Max Editor... can't edit devices

Why not just downgrading?
(and why upgrading before a show ?!)

For the sidechained tracks, just render them.

Re: What's the best way to future-proof your LiveSets?

Same strategy as Tempus3r, I restraint myself to ableton devices. The only third-party plugins I use are EZdrummer and some good compressors.
With Live and M4L devices, we have enough sound devices for decades.

Re: Why does live not record remote midi in clips?

If you have M4L, I've made a device that records automations to clips.

Re: QuestionsAbleton browser-based file organization (relinking)

If you move your files from the Live browser, they will automatically be re-linked, and you won't have any "missing file" problem.

Re: Simple audio to midi device

Hey guys, it's simpler than that. I've made a device which does exactly what you want. I use piezo mics sitcked on the kickdrum and the snare. Those signals then go to a pair of audio inputs on my soundcard, then to one audio track (with stereo input like 1/2 or 3/4 whatever your signal goes into th...

Re: Record clip automations with... the ClipAutomation device !

I've updated the 2 ClipAutomation devices. There was a little error which could cause the device to respond to unwanted CC messages ?! Now it's not a problem anymore. Download links are still the same.

Re: Record clip automations with... the ClipAutomation device !

I've got an old coreduo 2008 mackbook, and for a fully map instance with all 8 parameters automated, my cpu drops by approximately 5-7% .
So, i guess it should be something like 1% on a today's computer.

But you can try for yourself!
