http://www.flickr.com/photos/insolace/3204735732/ I got to play with this at NAMM for 15 minutes and I have to say it's solid. Honestly you could release it as-is right now and I think people would love it, I didn't run into any bugs or quirks. A VERY cool controller and the $399 pricetag is well wo...

the human ear cannot notice anything lower than 10 milliseconds. I used the Presonus Firebox and got pretty low latency. I think it was like 12 or 13 ms which is really only like 3 ms. Hate to bandwagon here, but try putting a sonically rich sample onto two channels, in mono. Now add a millisecond ...

I should have 50 of these for sale in about 2-3 months, $150 each is my current estimated sell price.

Slightly related to this topic, I'm currently developing a midi controlled color mixing RGB LED globe that I call the colorsynth. I'm close (2-3 months) to doing an initial production run of 50 units, sell price will be around $150 each. http://www.colorsynth.com <- these are my initial proof of con...

Live supports loading and saving presets for plugins, I wish it also supported a way to automate this. Some plugins are really bad at saving their own states, and live can obviously do this already since when you open a session all of your plugin settings are there.

It wouldn't be simple, but if there was a way for live to have a "performance" mode where you can load multiple sessions, and live would be able to transition from those sessions and intelligently change channel routings that would be amazing. Maybe there could even be a way to preload all...

+1 YES PLEASE Pitch wheel has 128x128 resolution as opposed to just 128, so it would be awesome to be able to map it to important controls PolyAT has been requested many times before, true it's not supported by many controllers but there are many soft synths (ie powercore virus) that have more than ...

Yes please, also please add this to external audio effects. I have an M-300 reverb unit with stereo in/out and MIDI control, it'd be great to add knobs, sliders, and PRESETS for CC and note values.

MIDI functionality - Poly AT and MIDI CH out on ALL channels

I will use the Virus TI and Powercore plugins as an example of why this is needed, although I'm sure other plugins and even some MIDI controllers would support it as well. The virus TI and Powercore plugins allow for four simultaneous/different patches to be loaded, each with their own MIDI channel ...

The short sample length can be a pain until you figure out the "lengthen" plugin, I use 200ms and it works fine. Live does some crazy things with notes that carry over the end of the loop though, so watch out. Otherwise it works great for either triggering notes or clips. The velocity curv...

This would be the equivalent of holding down the ALT key in protools, which lets you change parameters for all tracks at once (including solo, mute, routing, track height, etc).

I wish Live had it.

No really, I used those settings on my latest collaberation with Persian Funk

you can hear the awesome results here

I have a session with all those settings preloaded, I replaced my ableton shortcut with a shortcut to the session so that I have everything ready to go every time.

I find that these faux debates about the merits of someone else's music don't really inform my own creativity at all, but rather just get my mind stuck in a pretty negative, unproductive state. Has anyone else noticed this?
