More quantize options please!
Love Live but one thing I really miss from my previous DAW is more quantize options, especially a quantize that snaps the notes that are say close to the 8ths to the 8ths but does not snap the ones that close to the 16ths. This way you can be in time for the key beats/rhythm of a song and leaving a ...

Re: Live for Ipad? Any rumors?
I'm sure it I'll happen at some point - in the near future, or in a few years when the iPad is more powerful I've no idea. But it's bound to at some point. If you don't keep up you get left behind and in many ways ableton are already slipping behind. But more than that, a good even if limited versio...

Re: 64BIT !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Agree that most, but not all, plugs will have 64 bit versions available. A potential work-around until everything goes 64 bit is something like jBridge (see for example http://andrewlandry.com/2010/12/the-move-to-64-bit/) which can allow 64 bit plugs to work with a 32 bit host (like Ableton) or use...

Re: workflow enhancement topic (vitaminL, mousewheel zoom etc.)
Hey, I'm the user mentioned in the post. My script is here: http://www.sendspace.com/file/ain4uz I load vitamin l first and then run this after. At my screen resolution 2560x1600 at 100% zoom in Vista 64 it fixes some of the vitamin l functions and adds some of my own. Give it a try - I hope it work...

Re: ipad apps - what are you using?
Touchable is awesome. GarageBand is a game changer - I'm selling my laptop as I prefer using GarageBand for sketching songs on the road. You need a friend with GarageBand for the mac and logic for the mac to get all the midi and audio data out though. Soundprism is really cool too.

Re: TouchAble - complete controller for Ableton Live & IPAD
@rabuille: Oh my. :) With GBs new velocity sencitice technology for iPads, there might be hope for real preasure sensitive iPads in the future. The hardware technology is already there. Just a matter of geting production cost down to consumer level. Hmm Honestly, after testing both yesterday, I fee...

Re: What new devices would you like most?
Other - better quality versions of what's already there. To my ears, the quality of live's bread and butter effects are ok but nowhere near as good as third party stuff like waves. To my ears, this isn't true of other DAWs - Sonar, Pro Tools and Logic all have really good quality basic effects (eq, ...

Re: Everyone else is 64 bit
+1 for 64 bit (or workaround like splitting processes to allow more than 2gb of memory). The argument for 64 bit seems very simple - a lot of users (possibly most and certainly anyone who likes to use hungry 3rd party vsts) are running out of memory and having to bounce things when everyone using ot...

Hold a key down to launch scene half way through - possible?
Hey guys, I was trying to record a song from various scenes in a session view and thought it would be awesome if in play I could for example hold down C0 so that the next scene select/launch launches half way through the scene length (assuming all the clips on the scene are set to run for the same n...
