Noob question

Is there an Ableton or Max effect that can filter MIDI notes? Only let MIDI notes above a certain pitch through to a device?

I want to make a split keyboard, with warm sampled piano tones for the notes below C3, and clear bright Operator sounds for the notes above.

I think that's a bit misleading. It's not possible to add folders to the Max department of the library browser. The max section of the live browser is one flat list and nothing can change that. It's bad design. It is possible to add folders which will show up in the lower "places" and mos...

Just save it as a preset. It will go to your user library and you can organize there to your heart's content

Messing around with warp settings might be useful. Record your voice as an audio clip. Set warp mode on complex pro, transpose down a few semitones, then change the setting of Formants & envelope
