Thanks for the replies you guys! Funny enough I've been having so much fun working on my big set that I got distracted from this post. Here are my coalesced responses: I Can't stack the tracks because some of them are midi tracks. I work with Operator heavily, but I'll freeze or record them when the...

For what it's worth, I've made at least a little progress here. I started by dragging all of my sets into one set, keeping the order of the tracks. Keeping the songs grouped vertically by keeping their tracks next to each other together, I started playing with the scenes trying to group together the...

Assigning Midi CC value for FCB1010 expresion pedals
I have seen plenty of tutorials for programming the FCB1010's regular pedals, but I want to program the expression pedals to send CC values, like for using it for a wah pedal or other continuous value. Programming the expression pedals just like the regular pedals. Does anyone know how to do this? t...

Midi setup and organizing large sets
I do all of my production in Live (6) and so have a lot of sets each with 8 or so tracks. It seems only natural to stick all of these tracks into a single set so I can improvise live with them. All of the tracks contain synth generators or pre-recorded material. I might occasionally have a track or ...

In reply to the last few replies: You can't setup live while someone else is playing if you are the only person playing. Simply cross-fading between sets is pointless, since you should just be using CD's or records for that. The whole point is to be able to play pieces of your songs together. Drums ...

No link to main forum page?
Is it just me or is there no way to get back to the main page of the forum without manually entering in the url at the top? shouldn't there be a logo or something at the top?

Rythmic gate?
Does anyone have a decent way to trigger a gate of some kind with a programmed sequence? This would chop the sound at intervals determined by the sequence...

Yeah, this would be a huge advantage. Since you have to set up your live sets before each gig you can't make a transition between two songs without a cd or a complete duplicate of your current setup. This seems like a natural direction to go in - I can see playing whole sets in live if there was som...

Start/Stop recording with MIDI pedal?
I am looking to use a foot control to start and stop recording a loop so that I can free up my hands while I play a loop. Does anyone know how to set this up? I've got a normal pedal made for use with a keyboard. cheers!
