Ummm, can't you just daisy chain the Firewire devices (plug the canon into the Maudio box and plug the Maudio card into the computer. Then you can set Skype to use the Maudio for audio and the DV camera for video (or even just use the Canon for both if it sounds good enough - it does have a Mic, yes...
