Yeah. Thing about a power strip thing is that you can't control the order things get powered off. So if the mixer gets turned off before power you get the pop through them which doesn't sound good.

I have the Dynaudio MKIIs. I pretty much never turn them off. I turn my hardware synths off when not using them, but my laptop, mixers, and monitors stay on 24/7 (except for the laptop when it's in bag in transit). To be clear (or try) "Max" is not included. You can not use Max as a standalone application outside of Live regardless of if you just buy Max for Live or Live 9 Suite.

Max for Live, however, IS included.

i feel a bit silly commenting on music on the ableton forum, but... at first i agreed with mr synnack on this issue with first few tracks. but, i listened 3 times now right through, and i think this whole damn thing might be the best damn new music i heard in years. it is like a summary of history ...

other than the first tracks i find it very different. I don't recall so much slow sex jam beats on prior releases. there's somewhat of a groove even.

I wasn't very happy with the first few tracks. Seems like "here are some leftovers that didn't make it on other releases".

But middle to end is really good.

Autechre's 11th release "Exai" came out today via digital download with CD and Vinyl coming early March. I downloaded it today but I haven't listened yet until I can do so properly with good headphones or speakers. (only have laptop at the moment). Anyone else got it? Any early impressions...

Not sure if I 100% understand you. But i think you're just asking if you can automate more than one macro knob on a rack in the same clip. Of course you can. Just select the other macro from the drop down chooser on the screen where you draw clip envelopes.
