Dealing with Pop from Sidechain Compression

When the audibe kick is dropped and the dummy kick compression is till pounding down on the compressed element how do you deal with the audible pop that results from the necessary fast attack of sidechain compression from the kick hits? The compression is essential for the exposed bassline's rhythm,...

Now I want to do a pass over that arrangement and adjust some filter parameters (cutoff, wetness of effects etc.) of thealready existing composition...

Ugh. This is a bit harder than I thought. Realizing there is a lot of grey area in minimal perciussion. Like, is that a bleep? well, maybe its more of a bloop.... no, actually its kind of like a bleep and a bloop mixed with a zap:-P

Too many choices! or Making Sense of Sample Packs

So, I recently got the Vengeance sample pack for minimal house which I love but whenever I am trying to pull sounds from it my productivity comes to a screeching halt from all of the possible choices. Changing Ableton Startup Template?

Is there a way to get ableton to start in any configuration other than the standard 1 audio track, 1 midi track template? I would like to have Live autoload the series of tracks that I need for my plugins so I dont have to do it every time. I know I could just save a live set as a template to accomp...

Mainly its a vocoder but theres a lot of other effects you can throw onto a voice to give it that kind of quality (delay, resonance, beat repeat, etc.)

Dig it man. Nice job. Did you just use abletons resonator for the resonance? I like the pitch shifting too. What plugins did you use beside izotope? "There's no bass or lead?? There sounds like some ambient and voice toward the middle of the track. But the whole jam is pretty much percussion. &...

Yeah. Not expecting to work any miracles, but to just work with it as I can. I'll try the de esser. So you think no compression is the way to go? I usually dont use it unless I have to. Maybe just the limited is sufficient...
