are you talking about for effects? like different effects for one group of tracks?^ ^ This would be a perfect solution to one of my problems, only if it was possible to have a group inside of a group.

if you put them in multiple tracks and then group the tracks you can put all the effects on the group track. on the launchpad a closed group only takes up one slot

well if you buy maxforlive, anything you make in it you can open up in maxruntime(free) so even though a patch you are working on in live wont necessarily work in live, it will work in runtime, even msp/jitter patches, so i hear it sucks because you cant get the instant test of your patch but it doe...
