Re: Is it confirmed the "Back to arrangement" button is buggy?
Basically I've just tried to export 3 times so far and each time audio is exported with automation turned off on certain tracks.... ugh.

Is it confirmed the "Back to arrangement" button is buggy?
I've had this issue since version 7. I have to constantly fight the "Back to arrangement" button by de-activating it while it randomly becomes activated. Just recently I realized that after I removed some nodes from some automation, on a SoundToys VST, the issue stopped. Why did it happen ...

Any APC40 + Max4Live tutorials out there?
Although I'm still studying Max, I'd like to slowly become familiar with more advanced details of Max including figuring out how to customize the APC40. Does anyone know of any tutorials relating to this?

Question on packaged Max4Live lessons with Live 8
I'm looking through the lessons that come packaged with Max4Live. There's a folder, within the library, called, "16-Parameter Randomizers Lessons". It contains text files. How do I access the lesson in that folder? The text files seem to include references to other files and other details ...

Re: Has anyone connected Kinect to Ableton Live?
I downloaded Synapse and tried to run it. Does the Kinect need to be plugged in for the program to run? It crashed every time I tried to run it.

Has anyone connected Kinect to Ableton Live?
I'm researching the ways I can connect Kinect with Ableton Live. Presumably it requires M4L, which I also have. Does anyone have any experience doing this or know how I connect the things?

Re: Tracks should be AUDIO and MIDI at the same time ...
It needs to be stated, if Bitwig has good ideas, Ableton needs to steal them. Period.
I agree with the original post.

Re: Device Control on the APC40: How does it work?
the easiest approach is to put the device in a group and map controls to macros. the more difficult approach is to figure out how to use banks on the apc and work out what parameters on the device belong in which bank. i've never bothered. Sure but still. Do you have any insight on the APC40? Is it...

Device Control on the APC40: How does it work?
I'm trying to figure out how to effectively use the Device Control on the APC40 to control some parameters on Live's Freq. Shifter. By default it goes to Device Control Bank 1. So there are 8 knobs there. The first one doesn't do anything at all as far as I can tell. It doesn't change the LFO amount...

Re: Live 9 Pricing
WTF???
First completely confusing, misguided, incomplete pricing, followed by "Whoops, wrong prices." Seriously? Do you expect your consumers to put up with this?

Live 10 needs a direct neural interface and optical user control via my retina.

I don't understand the pricing at all
I don't mean, "I don't understand why." I really don't get how much I'm supposed to pay to upgrade - period. I own Live 8 Download, Live 8 Suite box, and Max4Live. When I go to "Shop" and select "Live 8 Download" I'm presented the option called, "Upgrade to Suite 8...

I can't decipher the prices on the site. What price are you seeing relating to what you mention above?

Re: I'm a little disappointed in Live 9.....
I gave the new features vid a second chance and sorry but all they have done is "improve" things!! Nearly every other DAW has had these "improvements" for ages and ages. I can't remember how long automation has been a requested improvement and I will be very surprised if the aut...

Updated branding and website
Maybe it's just me but I may be more impressed with their updated branding and website. Not to say that I don't like Live 9 features but it's nice to see this refresh of the brand.
