Re: Awesome radio voice
I very much doubt you'll get an "awesome radio voice" by using a text-to-speech voice. It should be obvious why - it's all about the intonations. A real voice-over artist will put in those little "I sound excited" pitch and timing changes that turn it from sounding like Leonard C...

Re: DJing with LIVE warping problem.
It is NORMAL for every song you load to be given the project tempo. That's the way Live does things. Remember, Live is not DJ software. When you load songs into DJ software, they load at their original tempo and it's up to you to match them to the previous song. Once you start Live, it has an assign...

If you have Adobe Audition (formerly Cool Edit Pro) there's a pretty good plugin for that, called ClickFix - it works well.

Re: tempo isn't steady on midi controlled machine.
1/ Record the pattern from the Electribe as audio.
2/ Warp and loop the audio in Live
Job done.
Or trigger the individual Electribe sounds from Live using MIDI.
No DAW is perfect, no matter how much you pay, but there are usually other ways to do what you need.

Have you got Quicktime installed?
A brief Google says that (not having QT installed) could be what's causing it.

Re: is it possible (weird question)
That's the sort of feature you can find in pretty much any DJ software.
Live isn't DJ software - it's a DAW.

You need to click the 'set default' button on the Playback/Recording tabs once you've highlighted the device you'd like to use.

Re: warping tracks for use with CDJ's. & loss of audio quality
If you're playing Dubstep, you shouldn't really have any need to warp - because it will have been produced in recent history, using modern production techniques so the tempo should be pretty solid. The only fluctuations (if any) will come from either the vinyl pressing being off centre or variations...

Re: Launchpad - Won't work with built-in USB ports
Is the hub powered?
Also, when you try connecting directly, do you still have the hub connected to the computer?
What else is connected to the hub/the computer?
How many USB ports have you got? Try different combinations of port choice.

Re: warping tracks for use with CDJ's. & loss of audio quality
What type of tracks are you talking about? As a general rule, tracks that have been recorded in the years since click tracks and drum machines became commonplace should have a fairly solid tempo, and not require much warping. Tracks from many years ago, pre drum machine and pre click track, will be ...

See http://www.native-instruments.com/forum ... p?t=118726 where they mention the Universal Control mixer (software) which comes with the PreSonus, and how to set it.

Re: help me choose an audio interface!!!
Any reason why you want an audio interface and not a USB DJ mixer?
You say you're a DJ, so a simple two channel DJ mixer would solve the cue problem straight away, as you want "DJ style" cueing.

Re: Suggestions for set monitors
The 6010s are small, but could well be TOO small for the OP.
They only have a 3" bass driver, are very low wattage and don't have much of a bass response.
My suggestion would be a pair of KRK Rokits.
Even the smallest model has a bigger woofer, better low end and higher wattage.

Re: ** highest quality video for youtube **
In simple terms, choose the biggest file size to upload (within the YouTube limits obv). If your audio/video track is 10 mins long, a 200MB file size will be "more lossless" than a 100MB file i.e. not as compressed. There are plenty of web sites that will tell you about getting the best qu...
