If you have another hdd you can try moving their libraries over to that. It seemed to help me with alchemy, so I moved all the kontakt and other sample based ones I had to a separate hdd from my install one

is it one specific plugin? or any of them?

Ive had this with one or two, but they are usually ones with very large libraries or things it scans on each open, like alchemy

do you have the power adapter plugged in? first thing would be to unplug that if you do, its only there to provide extra brightness

Id definitely try updating to 9.0.5. I used to get an unresponsive push where only a few buttons would work, but one of the beta's resolved that for me, so it should be in the latest release now

of course you can use your OS's file system explorer, thats always worked and you can do it even without having to kill the indexer, but you lose out on any tempo sync preview with what your doing
