From my limited experience: djenferno - It's probably because Live 5 doesn't support dual core yet (iirc) and so you're only using 2ghz though I would have thought that would usually be enough. Depends how many things you have running. Ghost Car - I would go for at least 1Gig RAM :) Someone more kno...

I'm with Keyser Soze on this one. I just wanted to add that as human beings we are sheep. No matter what individuals may think, the responsibilities and actions fall upon entire nations, not individuals. The sad fact is that of all the smart people taking an active part in discussions like this (and...

I'm guessing Live 6 will be even faster due to the new duel core PCs as well once it's released? I've forgotten now, but will macs have dual core? If not, then Live 6 will be quicker on PC. As for Live 5, from what I've heard PC is faster but it's negligable unless you're maxing the system resource...

As Toonman has already touched upon, the problem is that pixelshader supportable graphics cards would be a must. Afaik, if you don't have a pixelshader you cannot run a program/game at all. There's no slowdown, it just doesn't work. And I don't think there's a way to disable that. Many users still h...

Apparently no faster than 4x, but I mean if you've got the time, just burn it at the slowest speed. Set it to 1x and go have dinner or something :)

Actually I noticed what you mean. I'm thinking of buying Live 6 when it comes out and was just browsing this forum to see if there is any info on Live 6 when I came across this. I fiddled around with the Demo if Live 4 and when I warped something it was fine. But when I tried the Demo of Live 5 the ...
