Hi, I've just updated Augustus Loop to v1.4.3 with much improved MIDI sync compatibility. I'm also maintaining a compatibility chart now at http://www.collective.co.uk/expertsleepers/augustussync.html which is something of a hall of shame for the larger DAW hosts - fortunately Live (4.1.4 I tested) ...

I had a similar problem with a BCR2000.

I returned it to the store - its replacement has been fine (so far!).

So maybe there are just some 'bad' units out there.

The first one of these I bought was a dog - it would drop the connection to the computer after 30 seconds or so after powering-on. It went back to the shop - the replacement has been solid so far, and works really well with Live (4.04, on a powerbook 667).

This might be rather prosaic by comparison, but I get a lot of joy out of Live and one of these:

It's cool that not only does the controller control Live, but if you move settings in Live the controller follows you too.
