Re: recommend me CD decks? (probly 4use with a DVS)
Ignore the 1000's...they are over priced hype imho and I've used 200's, 800's and 1000's and they are no way ' better ' than a similar styled Denon or Technics deck, in fact they lack creativity...but that's for another thread no doubt. If you're just going to be using it to control a software progr...

Re: Mr Shine's live sessions
The Live Sessions are performed using Ableton with a selection of self made samples and others from the program...manipulating the sounds and launching of the clips provides an on-the-fly production lasting an hour, there are no limits to where the music goes or how it's constructed...i do what i fe...

Re: Moving to Mac for show
Another quickie question, Mac related...
If is use a External HD...USB2 connectivity...will that be fine plugging into a MAC and running my samples from?
With Windows you plug it in and it's recognised and away you go, just hoping a Mac does the same thing....

Re: Moving to Mac for show
I will look into the ' collect and save ' idea, i have a small laptop HD caddy somewhere with a spare drive as well... I should be oki for VST's, i haven't got that far yet within Ableton using them much, so for this little soiree i'll stick with the simple stuff as most of my samples have been reco...

Moving to Mac for show
I'm working on my next live session for this weekend, but i have a slight change of plan. I work all my sets at home on a Windows running PC with Ableton 6, but this weekend I'm due to do my show on a Macbook. The mac also has Ableton 6 installed. I will be taking a USB stick with my samples on, my ...

Re: Horrifyingly frustrating problem - New PC
I seriously doubt it's a Bios needing updating..if the CPU is compatible with the motherboard, there is no need to update your BIOS... you may be right about the PSU but you are 100% wrong with regards to the above... the motherboard he bought came out well before the CPU he released. my motherboar...
