Coffin Dodgers. Fun as hell.

I watched a few of the final Season 3 episodes of "House of Cards" at the prodding of my girlfriend, and man is that show "Da Schiznit"! Now I'm binge watching S01 & S02. to catch up. Spacey is God.

The most recent Cat House episode was pretty tight. I'm digging Season 2. Season 1 with Woody and Matty was epic.

falling skies is on a different level than lets say Serenity, it's much more introspective of the human race as a whole. But it doesn't even come close to the likes of Battlestar Galactica in this regard (at least in its first three seasons). Now that was a show that explored the nature of humanity...

If you want sci fi with a good story, read a fucking book. You're not gonna find a film or TV sci fi series that can even come close. It's not that I don't enjoy the occasional space battle on the big screen or the attack of huge robot armies. Naw hey if the story and characters are good then it counters the budget fx, maybe it's like that...plenty of other shows like that... Too much useless irrelevant dialog for me - a sure sign of fillers and binders to make up for a thin Fx budget. I stopped watching after 10 minutes into S01E02. Hey...

I don't think it's that good. I mean...we've been spoiled by big budget sci-fi flicks...how decent can a made-for-TV sci-fi show be on a TV show budget.
