Re: bounced(frozen) and record audio warp question
thanks a lot StormKraft as always you are a wealth of knowledge and have helped me numerous times and i appreciate it. Sorry if this sounds stupid but if the warp is null at the same bpm then does it matter what setting its set to i.e beats/complex pro, i would imagine not but just wanted to make su...

Re: can't find delay compensation for ozone advanced
But if you look at the 5247 samples you say Ozone are reporting, is this a steady number or is it different depending on Ozone settings? Yeah the numbers change, when ozone is loaded with no processors it's at 0 samples, then starts going up after loading processors. 5247 is eq dynamics imager and ...

Re: can't find delay compensation for ozone advanced
thanks stormkraft, both live and ozone delay compensation are enabled and it still happens. I use t-racks and those processors have a fraction of the latency so this is something i'm not use to. playback when everything's recorded and mixed is not bad and it doesn't seem to be effecting the exported...

Re: can't find delay compensation for ozone advanced
i found the delay compensation in ozone and it's enabled but it doesn't help, still getting delay. Also it seems the crossover buffer is set to 128 in dynamics and exciter and can't be changed, in the Eq setting tab just buffer size not cross over is sett to 1024 with the option of being able to cha...

can anyone recommend a really good beat making course
I'm trying to pull away as far as i can from looping any type of sample. Although i do like using samples and still will be playing them on a note by note basis, it just sometimes feels like the sample sound becomes much more of a hassle to keep in key when played on different notes. i know sounds a...

Fab filter pro q 2/ trilian/Ableton question
i'm trying to understand the whole mono or stereo option with the pro q 2 and the pro c(compressor), is the only benefit to loading the stereo version being able to eq the left or the right individually? as this is above my understanding at the moment in mixing and i don't think i will be eq'ing the...

Re: Gain staging when bouncing to audio
Thanks for the responses, I think this might cleared some stuff up for me. What really made me start questioning how the gain should be was when I was recording vocals I couldn't get a clean sound after mastering using my ua 710 pre amp and c314 mic, so after consulting somebody I realized I needed ...

Gain staging when bouncing to audio
So when gain staging vocals I try and achieve a -18 db to -12 db range and never move off the ch fader keeping it at zero as to allow the cleanest sound possible. But as far as my drums and bass and other instruments are concerned, should all the tracks be at around -10 db as in turning the master v...
