Yeah, i'm currently using AutoHotKeys to convert Bome's keystrokes into mouse movements/clicks and it does the job nicely.

But if I can drop AutoHotkeys and use Bome only, genius!

guess my brain was too tired last night - things made more sense this morning and I got much further. OK, i've sussed out what you meant by channel remapper - last night I didn't know how to assign a knob to it. I checked via Ableton, as I turn this knob the output MIDI ableton is displaying is 1/19...

then all you have to do is have a knob that changes the midi channel of certian messages (filtered out, of course..) so a knob is linked in bidule to a midi channel remapper. the clip fire buttons are going through that remapper, CC's or notes 17-24, on cascading midi channels. this type of navigation offers clip view on clip 'highlight' (no need to launch) and keystroke F12 (which can be midi mapped) swaps from clip view to track view and back.
