easily. probably better too. rc-50s can only record in mono (which some say is fine), but ableton can do stereo and a whole LOT more... I suggest ableton over the rc-50.

set your release times on hte samples to VERY high. it will play out the sample every time you hit it

well, for one, my interface, with live 7, using my manufacturer drivers, made my apc40 perform incorrectly. with asio4all, it fixed that problem, as well as giving me LOWER latency than with the original drivers. that on top of that, it frees up my original drivers for use in other programs.
