If you're already up to date with your windowsupdates.. the sp3 isnt going to do much of anything since you'd likely have all the patches installed already. It's just a collection of every patch made to the operating system since it came out rolled into 1 "easy" installer. Here comes the ...

I'm sure there's huge speed improvements over the final release of XP (before any service packs) - which is what I believe any articles stating XP over Vista for performance were basing their findings on.. i believe if you go into the warp settings, and under loop/warp short samples - select unwarped one shot - will drag most small loops & hits unwarped, and also play them back in the browser unwarped

I think the best is using hardware profiles 1 for the internet 1 for music After you just have to switch session. Anti-vir software runs a lot of thing in the background depending wich one you use. You can also learn vbscipting a bit, it's not that hard and it gives you a lot of power over windows....
