Have you tried different crossfade curves (right-click on the cross-fader)?

No worries. After selecting the language, your friend will need to restart Live for the change to be applied. Viel Spass!

Sure:

In the file menu: Optionen -> Voreinstellungen

(or just hit CTRL+, or Apple+,)

In the pop-up window, the Look Feel tab is the first (uppermost) one.

And then the language option ("Sprache" in German) is the first (uppermost) one in the list.

Yup, pretty much the same here. I would understand the bump going from 6 -> 7 if it's documenting new features or Live Suite-specific lessons. But for an incremental update seems very strange.

Soundflower works very nicely and is free. Then you can redirect into any recording program like Live.

What Husker said. No effects is the key. If you start adding effects or plugins you're quickly going to run into problems. The processor on the Eee is pretty rubbish by today's standards. It's nowhere near close to a replacement for a Macbook. I like 'em though - cute little things with more geek-co...

Underworld use Live

Just back, sweaty and exhausted, from the Underworld gig in Berlin Columbiahalle. Was pleasantly surprised to see Ableton Live being featured prominently on stage. Note, unlike Justice, they didn't have the Info View window displayed. Underworld rocked, by the way. And to the Ableton employee...

[ot] England 19 - Wales 26

I know no-one on here gives a monkeys about the rugby, but it's the first time we've won against England at Twickenham in 20 years - we have to enjoy it while it lasts.

Lush :D :D

Yeah, you don't need a DSL backbone to do it, you can connect directly (wirelessly) from laptop to laptop (using Create Computer-to-Computer Network in OS X). I found it to be a bit flaky to be honest. Every now and again the connection will drop, dunno why... maybe there's more network configuratio...

It's just conjecture on my part, but I don't think the two main music software companies in Berlin will start competing against each other in exactly the same product space.

Cool, I'll definitely make it to one of the sets to say hello. :) Just a word of warning: there's a public transport strike on in Berlin at the moment. It will finish at 15:00 Saturday. Bus, tram, U-bahn are all cancelled until then. S-bahn, regional trains are running with no disruption. Just thoug...
