Re: So just got max 4 live
yeah sure.
it's on the first page when going to max help.
you can even view it online:
http://cycling74.com/docs/max5/vignette ... intro.html
on the right you can see "max objets by function", or "msp objects by function"
(or even jitter, if you're hard-core)

Is this the formula for the next megahit?
notice there's 10 specially placed points.
with the automation as it is now, i could do that with 4,
and no one would be able to tell the difference.

gurf.
thats the algorithm, with spline interpolation.
i know that,
none of you are listening to me. it's a convenience. nothing more.
it's not a "MUST HAVE".

Re: Ableton 9: Bezier curves ,better editing & visual refernce
ok, I'm not sure what one's sexual preference has to do with it. but anyway, my question still has not been answered. the fact is that spline interpolation between automation points is a luxury, at best. NOT a "MUST have for ALL DAWS" let them go, they obviously have many aspects of the pr...

it's all the people who are actually supporting her.
and to say that "real men eat 3000 calorie burgers at a time"
yeah, consuming 3-4 times the amount of food one needs to at a time,

i know what bezier curves are, and cubic bspline automation, and why they are preferable. but you haven't told me why they are a "MUST have" for "ALL DAWS". as though it's comparable to generating audio, or receiving midi data.. i still put it to you you couldn't tell the differe...

Re: So just got max 4 live
i think my most useful pages in the manual are "max/msp objects by function" (there's one page for each). whenever i'm thinking "how do i do......" i load up that and read. can usually find the answer easily for most things. and i'm not sure reading the tutorials will give you a ...

Re: Ableton 9: Bezier curves ,better editing & visual refernce
can someone please explain to me why 'bezier' curves are "a MUST have for every DAW". i put it to you you couldn't tell the difference between that and 5 or six well placed automation points.
