in live five use the track delay (in session view) too offset the track or grab the track in the arrange window and move it (if not warping), put the last warp marker in the right place then move the first one to the right place (if you're warping)

Beat Detective in PT can probably help fix your drums, you'll have to RTFM a little first as I'm not up to speed on the latest versions of PT, and I know that they've made some big changes recently... I beleive the TDM version of BD is a lot more powerful, so you might want to see if you can get som...

lacie makes a pocket drive that fits your needs I think. look in to buying an external enclosure that does what you want, you will probably have to go 2.5" to get something bus powered I would think. oh and seagate just released new 7200 rpm 2.5" 100 gig drives that are supposed to be the ...

connect the two with a ethernet cable, make sure personal user sharing is turned on on both machines, in osx go to the network tab in a browser window and you should see your G3 there, hit connect, log in, mount the drives you want and get the files. If you are on os9 you may have to mess with your ...

Harpi Clarpark, are you running protools as a rewire master? you could try this and run all your plugins tdm thru rewire... this would definitly free up cpu load, supposedly PT 7 is optimised for RTAS (and VST wrapped RTAS) now so that you can run a third more plugs. (i know there are drawbacks to t...

Very interesting to watch indeed. But if I close my eyes and pay attention to the sound only, I don't hear anything new... Do you? kyma can do pretty much whatever you can conceive if you can sink the $$$, when the studio I was working for was looking into them 5 years ago $11000 got you 800 odd 32...
